There is a new group of players around that seem to know how to program, so I was wondering if anyone is interested in looking at how they could support GT4 over a LAN or the Internet.
I'm not sure if "MK" is still around to take any interest. I saw one message indicating he hasn't been heard from in quite some time, but who am I to say... I don't know who he is to look for him.
The kind of support I was thinking of was something dealing with Ethernet data beyond what we think PD may include in the game. For example, I doubt that they will let us record on-line replays, but the data travels across the ether, so it should be able to be captured by a PC. Timing data should be able to be extracted from that, so a real-time, blow-by-blow race account should be possible. It should also be able to check up on the validity of the cars, from whatever settings are actually available.
Since a GT4 on-line audience is supposed to be possible, is there anything that can be done for them?
There are at least a couple of Nintendo GameBoy programs out there that use the handheld as a display unit. Is there any way that it could be used in conjunction with GT4?

I only thought about this an hour ago, so what other ideas do you have?
Cheers,
