Hi, I'm new here can someone explain how exactly i can make and design my own car for use in GT5. Like if I buy the car parts from ebay then I make them on GT5?

Thanks for taking time to read this well constructed paragraph.
Have a nice day

You can't do anything like that. The only designing you can do is whats in the game and it ain't much.

Sorry, but I don't really understand what you want to know. Can you explain a bit more?

If it's car customization you want to know about, then you can paint the cars, select and paint rims and add aero parts. A few cars can also have racing car modification. That's all the "design" options you have in GT5.

wait... you want to make a car for the game?

and what would do with the car that you made (Not trying to discourage you)? you can't put it in GT5...

I would wish to make a whole car from parts off ebay for this game

Well... in theory you COULD buy parts from ebay, making a real car from it and take it to the SEMA show and hope you win the Polyphony Digital award, which will have the car being included in a future GT title. But that's a lot of work.

You cannot transfer a car into the game, unless you work at PD and convince Kaz to scan your car in.

Hopefully transfer the car so it goes into the game

This would be virtually impossible.

You first need to build your car and then enter it into SEMA or Concours. Getting into either one is difficult enough. After that, Kaz picks (out of hundreds of cars) the best one, based off of looks and performance. Unless you can compete with big-time show winners, I suggest you take this step by step.

How about this: you can create a thread here and document your progress for everyone to see. this way we will be able to give feedback on your build, and hopefully you might even make it to gran turismo. hopefully.
best of luck 👍

Not sure, but I know we're done here.

EDIT: Good call, analog 👍
