Jumping from that great height would require something very dence, soft and absorbant. What about a skip full of Bounty kitchen towel? Personaly I think it would be an impossible feat to survive a fall of that height, even with long preperation.

Cue Famine and the air stewardess who fell out of a plane story....

Hmm,you mean the one who fell out of plane and landed on the highway and somehow survived only to be killed by an oncoming truck?Or was that a skydiver.Hmm.

Bloody hell. daan's becoming psychic...

A stewardess survived a 33,000 feet plunge after her plane blew up over the then-Czechoslovakia.

See?

That story seems a bit far fetched. If I didn't know better I'd think it's an urban legend. Who would believe you when you tell your mates down the pub?

Btw Ryen, your dog scares the crap out of me!

I think that is a farse. I can't believe that she would have lived after falling from such a height.

You mean a fake?

Go ask the Guinness Book of Records. They verify EVERYTHING before it is included.

For your reference, it wouldn't have mattered if she fell from 330,000 feet (other than asphyxiation in space) - human beings reach terminal velocity of 120mph after just 2000 feet (or about 6 seconds).

also in WW2 a guy fell from 12000ft his plane was on fire so he bailed out with no parachute and landed in 4ft snow drift and walk away un harmed.

I remember reading about that in physics class.
