Their large, but that picture makes it look a lot bigger then it really is. They can also be found in the southwestern states in the US

Man, you just made every Southwestern American States inhabitant who reads this, **** his pants.

Put an arachnophobic warning in the topic or I will kill you! Now I'm never getting out of my bunker..........

Damnit!!! I'm jumping at everything now! And I'm officially moving to Siberia, no nasty ugly creepy wildlife there.

Hey, that's the fun about it. See it as a challenge! Take the shotgun out of your father's weapon locker and let the fun begin!

Well, it is true... I've had a number of them in my house. They're only about an inch long though, so no biggie... but they're horribly difficult to kill (the run very fast, and their exoskeleton is exceptionally strong for their size – in other words, hitting it once with a fly-swatter won't work). They're very interesting to watch though, especially when they eat – They actually have 4 primary mandibles (most arachnids or arachnid relatives have 2 primary and 2 secondary mandibles), and they alternate sides... for example, make a "C" shape with your index finger and thumb, then do that with your other hand... now put them together, side-by-side, and alternatively close one, then the other. That's how they eat.
