Manufacturer Gear?

It's probably not available in GT Mode, but has anybody seen manufacturer gear like this?;

On his/ her shirt you can see the blue and white VW logo. I was doing a drift trial in arcade mode when I took these photos. Has anybody else seen this kind gear used by their driver?

the drivers in le mans 24 hours are also having suits with the manifacturer on it

I asked about a suit with a manufacturer logo on it, not the glitch suit.

@Breman5 do you possibly have a pic? :) I'm wondering where they appear.

just drive the Le Mans 24 hours in b-spec
go to the other drivers and look at them
i was surprised too!
 
Cool find. Makes me wonder just how many suits are in the game. They never seem to run out of gear to give us in the seasonal events.

Thanks, I don't our A-spec avatars can use the manufacturer branded gear though :|
 
Yes. Watch the Toyota 7 when driven by the AI for the easiest example to see.


As for getting it yourself, no I haven't seen it.

The suit matches the manufacturer of the car driven.
 
I'll have to jump into a VW and see what gear I sport. I knew it matched manufacturers colors...not sure if it adds anything else.

ok, so my b-spec driver is wearing a glitch suit, putted him in a toyota 7
... but no manufacturer logo :(

I tried a Chapparal 2J and I had no logo but when I tried a Shelby Cobra I had that nice big "S" logo on my driver so it seems that only some manufacturer logos are displayed.
 
I wonder if Ford, Chevy and Dodge work.

where did you tested it?
 
That's interesting. Gotta get one of those suits!
 
If you do a race in a preimium car in Arcade mode and watch the replay in one of the inside views, you will notice that you are wearing a manufacturers racing suit for the car that you are in.
 
If I'm perfectly honest, I can't think of a half-decent region why PD didn't release manufacturer's suits and helmets when they were first added to the game. I suppose they're are probably limitless different sets of gear, considering the amounts of variants of each type of suit etc.

Probably because so many of us are already at our item limit. We can't take any more.

Maybe. But given the opportunity, I know I would delete some of the riff raff for the odd manufacturer's suit. They'd be better releasing things like this as free DLC in my opinion, that way, everyone wins. Want it, get it for free. Don't want it? Don't download it. Simples. :sly:

Arcade mode at special stage route X, I chose open top cars so that I could see the suits more clearly.
