This fabulous car was powered by a 3.0 litre BRM Repco V8 Formula 1 engine which was visible through a see through plexi-glass canopy. It was retired after racing in the 1968 Spa Francorchamps 24 hour race and restored in 2008. The above picture shows it at Goodwood in 2010.

The original BRM Repco V8 engine had centre of V exhausts with the inlets on the outside of the cylinder banks - this Buick 3.5 litre engine was fitted later.

Yes please and with that engine sound.

The rear view mirror on the roof is very unusual! So are the plexiglass doors - It would have great left and right views.

If PD could give us this car and the Ford F3L / P68 they would be great rivals in the game as both were built when the sportscar regulations switched to a 3 litre maximum - presumably the switch was for safety / to reduce speeds - if so it didn't work as the Ford GT MK4 7 litre did 227mph and the Ford F3L did 217mph.

yes seen this at Prescott hill 50th ? marcos birthday very cool sound's the dogs.

Looks, sounds, and performs very nicely. We need specs though!

The original engine produced 300bhp and it was intended to compete with the 3 litre Ford P68 which did 217mph so we can estimate 200mph. There aren't much in the way of specs available for this car as only one was built and after an unsuccessful race at Spa it was retired from competition.

Dang... Well if PD can get their hands on it I'm sure they'll get specs of their own :P

Love that roof-mounted rear view mirror. The whole cockpit area is see-through, so it might get real hot during midday......this could be the unfortunate side effect:
