Maroon 5!Music

When I first heard maroon 5 I thought that they were another one of those watered down pop bands who play nothing but power chords...my bands guitarist thought the same thing but then he listened to the whole album and got me to listen to it as well, and now im going to go see them when they come to toronto. the guitarist is awesome and I love the groove they get in every song. But anyways, has anyone seen maroon 5 in concert and how did they sound, I know they sounded awesome at the grammeys tonight...but has anyone seen them live?
 
I saw them when they opened for John Mayer last year. They were pretty good live, nothing special. Some bands put on good shows and some just play their album. Maroon 5 do the latter.
 
They are pretty good. At first, I thought they are Jamiroquai wannabes. When I heard Sunday Morning, I liked it so much I finally bought the album. I give it "B-".
 
I like them, nothing special but I wouldn't cringe everytime I heard them if it weren't for the amount of overplay they get on the radio..

Yes the radio killed good songs like Lay-Z Boy - Underwear Goes Inside The Pants and various others, which I can't remember.
 
First off, I think that 'Race Idiot' is great, I read his profile, and it cracks me up every time.

I have to agree with 'Shannon' and 'Race Idiot', Maroon 5 are a crock of poo...

But, then again, I also hated 'Busted', then they split up. So, hopefully if I keep saying Maroon 5 are crap, they will split.

All I can hope for now is that 'Mcfly' are killed, along with 'Maroon 5'...and possibly 'Eminem'...and '50 Cent'...

and 'Ciara'...
and 'Pharrell Williams'...

Better still, just nuke the next award ceremony! :ouch:

Note: You can edit your posts instead of posting one after the other. Also, I don't think you'll last long here if your posts quality doesn't rise. Also people don't find signatures full of smileys pleasing to the eye and it's been done before to the annoyance of most other users.

And Pharrell is a decent vocalist.

Only song I like but don't really like is "Sunday Morning" I think I just need to hear other songs by them other than the one's they play on MTV and VH1. Other than "Sunday Morning" I think there'll ok.
 
Wow, I didnt think that this thread would get so much feedback...

Anyways, another good song is shiver, when I first heard it i didnt think it was maroon 5, but its a really good song, and my band is covering it. Not coming home, but the live album version is also good.

I have found out that all of my mates like them, so I can't continue to insult those idiots in that really crappy band called 'Maroon 5'

They've had commercial success. Most people on this board don't like that.
