Marussia MR03 launch

Nice looking pieces around the exhaust exit but nothing unique. Front wing endplates really need a look at, more simple than the ones used before 2009! they are not working the air around the front tyres enough.

Some new sponsor logo's as well, Capsicum RE is his Chilton's Dad's new company.

That black penis hides itself pretty good. The paint scheme itself looks like something made with MS Paint. Not that impressed. Let's hope that they will show some results on track.

Half expected to see another whacky nose design that would have put the Caterham to shame, since they have comparably little to lose and could have toyed around with a more left-field concept to make the most of the car's performance.

Instead we get an unobtrusive design with a diving brick for a nose tip. Can't say I have any real complaints with that. It'll play the role of "inconspicuous backmarker" better than anything else from the looks of it. Unless they have the performance to counter that expectation which I doubt.

It seems like someone from ARTA designed the livery.

I said that:
The red looks an AUTOBACS red, as that goes from bright and fluorescent red to a chromey-orange colour.

We only could see a little bit of the sidepod at the most, not the whole car.

I don't see them going anywhere other than the back of the grid when they cannot even make the first testing days.

Right, well they struggled enough with development, much less when so many things get changed again suddenly.

Two things; First is that the scheme is one of the best so far, second is that this is possibly the most blatant case of a shlong-afterthought.

Glad they have done what Red Bull did and kept the nose black, looks so much better.

I think we have seen so many questionable protrusions that we have become desensitized to it and now and they arent looking as bad with every unveil

If the Renault engine doesn't improve they should be able to worry Toro Rosso, and they should definitely have an advantage over Caterham at the start. If they can build a reliable car they genuinely have a chance of scoring some points in the early races if the predicted reliability issues strike enough teams.

Photos of the car on F1 Fanatic show that, like all of the Ferrari-powered cars, the MR03 has small sidepods. They are considerably smaller than the ones on the MR02.

He was quoting me, I was pointing out to him that I had mentioned a likeness to ARTA.
