This is now my favorite car on the game, I love the body style, wheels and color of this beast. It's an all around street/track weapon. Dale Earnhardt Jr has one almost just like it, theres a video of his build on youtube. It's a beast in it's untuned form so I can imagine with the stage three engine, which in the car info it says it has 611hp but with just an oil change it has 505hp, so I wonder which is the real world hp. It's a blast with sh tires, it's really solid with cornering and the gears are perfect. I am glad kaz has a eye for some great cars and included this car in gt6 and can't wait to see last years winner and this years winner, that black nova! Would love to know what you all think about this amazing american machine, your reviews, feedback, and comparos are welcomed.

I drove it a couple of days ago, unmodified with Sh tires on Bathhurst and thought it was great, it was geared very good, nice speed down the straights and handled the corners on SH without a problem. Very quick and solid car. I will be driving it more for sure :)

You should see the car perform IRL, I saw it at the Optima Battery Ultimate Street Car Challenge and the car is just stupid fast, along with Stielow's '69 Camaro (Red Devil) two great additions to GT6.....

Yeah this car has amazing balance. I also feel like that for the $750000 price tag, it is worth it since its so rewarding to drive. Compared to the red devil (same price) the Pozzi Camaro RS offers a much more "hoon-able" car.

I love the sticker (or maybe paint) on the back that says "Stick You B#$%*"

I've wanted to drive this car ever since I saw this video which has a much better review than I can give.

No problem man, it's a great car on the game and in real life, it's proof that you can take an american muscle car and have them boys in corvettes, m3's and nsx's scared looking in they rear views and then your tail lights. And proof that american muscle can not only be fast with straight lines, but with some tuning, cornering as well.

Thanks vr6cas:cheers:
When I first read about this car being included (9 months ago?) I knew was gonna buy GT6 just for this and the Pontiac Firebird. I could pootle around willow springs for hours in that beauty! Buy it, drive it, restore it and drive it some more!!!

I really don't see the big deal myself, It's hardly a good looking car to begin with less so now that its been "tastefully" modified, Wish PD didn't bother with useless modified cars like this and just give us the people who pay PD's salaries the standard car and let us do with it as we see fit.

You mad that the 'chick' drives a nastier car than you bro?? ;)

Hardly a good looking car to begin with, ok to each his own, so are you saying that since it's been "tastefully" modified that it's worse than stock? If so than you sir have no taste. And useless modified cars comment just shows how much you love cars, thank goodness kaz does not think this way.

Of course I have no interest whatsoever in cars, Funny how that works out when I've been to college to study all aspects of vehicles (2 City and guilds certificates) Oh and I used to work in a garage so yeah no interest in cars clearly, No Kaz thinks we need bloody moon cars these days his head is in the clouds, Now don't get me wrong I have absolutely nothing against historically significant cars like what you might see at a concourse event, What I do have a problem with is what the hell is the point of modelling bloody cars that have been modified and look ugly as sin when Kaz could and should have all these years taken just inspiration from SEMA and just put the standard cars in the game and let us do what we like with them, If we want to make them look like crap then we can if we choose to make it look like the Camaro mentioned above, But hey each to their own, I think I'd rather see modified cars in NFS.

You make no sense, NFS, really? LOL, a little arcadey don't ya think, whatever.

You know what would have been nice? A regular second generation Camaro. Just like a regular Oldsmobile Toronado would have been nice. And a regular first gen Corvette. And a regular 1970 Mustang.

Using "Need for Speed" as if it is a pejorative makes no sense. Particularly since you clearly (and seemingly intentionally, if your "you must not really like cars" crack is any indication) missed his point in the first place.

I agree. Id like to paint it one color or add stripes or numbers. At the same time, im happy we've got this model as is. Sucks that its classed with GT500 cars in Single Player. But its in my top 5.

Indeed a very nice car and one that will see a lot of miles on the track.

It does baffle me though amongst the many custom tuner cars etc. that have been included. Since you would think that the majority of the factory production model is created first or at least could relatively be created easily. That somewhere along the lines of creating these customer tuner cars why PD do not include the stock factory model. Also if I was PD and had to deal with issues of not having one of the major brands in the game. That I would strive to really include a wide range of history of the other top brands, such as Ferrari which they are doing a decent job on now in GT6 with the exception of not having race versions.

I love this car, too. Does everything I want it to. Very neutral handling. The same can't be said for many Ferraris in the game.

I agree fully with you! I would like he option to make it look like my Dad's first car, a Green 1971 Camaro RS. By the way, it it possible to change the color on the SEMA show cars, like in GT5?

Yes, you can change the color and wheels of the SEMA cars, so go ahead and paint her green and find the closest wheels to what your dad had.

Oh yes.

My dad had a gold RS for a short time after our family wagon('69 327 Malibu estate) was totalled.

After reading vr6cas's OP I sprung for the car.

Pure joy, Willow springs was a total delight to test drive.

I had great expectations after watching the Drive video, the car delivered.

Will be using this car big-time, only tuning parts purchase I made was racing brakes.

The car s fantastic, but badly let down by the fake Dyson vacuum sounding engine. It is such a pity that this is happening again.

I switched over the FM5 and created my own Pozzi-style split bumper Camaro - and while the fantastic photorealistic visuals of GT6 are missing, the glorious sound the FM5 home-baked version produces makes up for it.

If GT could use Forza sound it would be a near perfect driving sim.

WOW so I just finally drove this car and it truly is a dream! I love it. It may look like a 1970s camaro but don't be fooled because it'll drive like a modern sports car

I just now put the stage 3 engine upgrade on this machine and it's even more beast, question is why would they rate this car at 500hp when in fact I just read the car is putting out 620hp at the crank? Should'nt it be 620hp without a stage 3 engine upgrade. And I took it to the supercar festival and beat some exotics, from a gen2 camaro! Nice job Mary Pozzi!
