This is an excellent car. It was in production from '56 to '58, with over 3 dozen delivered around the world.

The engine was quite good, as Maserati supplied many of slightly larger displacement to Cooper for their successful rear-engine single-seaters and sports-racers.

Edit: the successor to this car was the legendary Tipo 60/61 "Birdcage".
