History:
Only 4 of these wonderful cars were produced (Chassis #s 2056, 2057, 2060, 2089). This car was first shown at the 1952 Turin Motor Show. The bodied was styled by Pininfarina which caused problems with Ferrari. Pininfarina had a strict contract with Ferrari at the time. However Rome dealer Giuglielmo Dei got 6 chassis to build 4 cars for Maserati which Enzo Ferrari protested. The A6GCS/53 only raced twice during its history. Chassis #2056 raced in the 1954 Giro di Sicilia however it crashed, killing the co-driver (the car was restored in 1991). Chassis #2057 raced in the 1954 Mille Miglia and was given a distinct lower roof line.

Specs:
Engine: Inline-6 w/Double Marelli Ignition
Power: 170bhp
BHP/Weight: 188.89 bhp per ton
Top Speed: 235kph (146mph)

In my view this Maserati A6GCS/53 is one of the all-time beautiful cars. It features in my Most Wanted List for all GT games. Stunningly beautiful machine.

Beautiful. And a cool car too. FYI, they are sometimes mutually exclusive...And I thought all six chassis got made, and only five still survives...
