This is a Maserati Quattroporte covered with 1,763 lbs of shattered glass. It was put together by Italian artist Luca Pancrazzi and is currently outside the Moscow Museum of Modern Art welcoming guests to the second Moscow Art Biennale that runs through April 1st. If this was a Ferrari or Lamborghini I'd probably be on the floor right now, cursing the heavens and crying like a little baby.

I certainly wouldn't want to be hit by that thing... But it's unusual and amazing all at once!

You know what it looks exactly like? Those outtake renders from the Shrek DVD where they accidently made the Donkey's fur way too long.

Assuming all that shattered glass is covering every area of the car but the windows, how did they manage to open the door?

Very carefully.

And with gloves.

Actually, they've probably added the remote system that people use when they shave off door handles.

I think it was made for the Russian museum to be a Siberian Maserati.
