I was in Braintree last night. The A131 and A130 around there are just great roads for a blast. I drove 40 miles just to get there!

Evo puts the mass at 1101kg, and claims to have a 6.2s time with it (which I don't believe either).

I think with the rev range, the advantage comes when you've only got one gear change to get to 60...

im gonna do my own FF challenge, i know im new here, but thats the thing, im new HERE. i have some very respectable 400M times and course times over at racing line. personally im not satisfied with majins times for the cars. im going to try and get the best times for each FF car in each category. ill pretty much do the same as majin, same cars, same rules, same track, just no TCS or ASM and im going to run each car til i feel its at its best and also ill do the top speed of each vehicle.

A Racing-Line refugee? :D

One point - your signature is one line too long. The maximum is 6 lines.

Look forward to your test :D

Famine I can def attest to your comments about MGF TF break downs, I have owned mine for 2 years and everything that can possibly break down has done so, but hey I'm a mechanic so dont mind getting my hands dirty only mind when the wallet loses weight.

Im not sure which i should do, should i........

1. Make a new thread for my FF Challenge

Or

2. Just post my results in this same thread?

Oh btw im not including commentary about the race, im just doing straight statistics, im not much of a talker. hehe:O

Do you even play GT3? If you did, you would have known there are alot of different models of celica. Also Eric also ran Celica so.

Anyways JDM model DC2 Integra Type R's run from mid 14s - low 15s. Those times were ran my professional race car drivers and it is an amazing time. 14.7 in a Integra type R DC2 is very quick with a NA 197hp, its great. It may not be the fastest "FWD" on the 1/4 but its very quick. The SRT4 will destory the DC2 on the drag strip but it has more power and turbocharged.

On the track, im not sure. Curcuit wise im very sure that a JDM Honda Integra Type R DC2 can out run SRT4. The SRT4 dont handle bad at all, its a great car but i would think the ITR would win depending on the curcuit. If it was more like an oval track speed way im very sure that the SRT would win. In a twisty curcuit with many corners my bet is on the ITR.

As of DC2 vs DC5 Integras, im not sure. The DC5 has more power and is faster to 1/4. DC5 without the double wishbone suspention it is still a monster. Even tho i favor the DC2, you need to give credit to where credit is due. The DC5 ITR is unbelievable fast.

Fastest FWD 1/4= SRT4 (as i know of)

Ok, I can get with the initial goal of finding the best purchasable car, however, I would like to see some seperate research. The more drivers inputting data, the better.

A prize car/ tuner car Front/front comparo should be conducted. Best f/f car in the game is what I would really like to know. I have been interested in the spoon/trd rivalry for quite some time.

More than one track must be in your comparison if you want to really compare the cars properly. Only Comeplex String can fully replicate all driving scenerios. (even then, there are charactoristics that could be missed) So in my opinion, we should run either, various tracks or complex string. ( I recommend that we race on Complex.)

I'm also feeling that a comparison of stock form cars can be deceptive. I would really like to see a comparison of these cars in "close to fully modified" form. These cars should be raced as one class of cars, to find a true victor we must create pwr limits. Otherwise, tuning the cars will come out with skewed results.

I would really like to do this, so if you, MajinSSJEric want to get down on this it would be really cool. Everyone please contribute! That would be awesome.

I've also started a thread on this sort of subject, if I provide a link, would you all help out and get some free run racing going. Just a times thread with what ever you pull on the track of your choice.

I hope we can have some fun with this one... bye. :D
