Mastering reverse entry

mmmmhh...not really. you need to have skills to do it,you obiously need to take count on your speed, and on where to start the drift, you dont need luck to do it, insted, using luck would be the worst way to do it.when someone is taking an exam, he doesnt need luck,HE NEEDS TO STUDY for the exam , but yeah,i think suzuka is way to hard to practice backwards:crazy::lol:, then deep forest and tsukuba would be the ones i would pick to practice:)

I have done these before on my old wheel but they're like 1 in 4, my skill doesn't vary between each run.

Anyhow it's not a learning spot.

it's not a learning spot.
of course it is learnable, you just need practice, its just hard, its like the ring huge corner, once you try it its really hard, some people qualified it as impossible, but i seen people who because of practice can done it easily, its matter of pacience.

I personally love doing reverse entries in the first corner & the last corner going uphill of Autumn Ring Mini / Reverse.

it's very fun on the first turn of deep forest, turn left towards the pit wall before the crest (at full speed) then whip it right and left again right as you leave the track, i've gotten serious reverse entry there just letting the car slide no throttle until you power out

Practice yes. Everyone can do that but even the top drifters can't get that corner right every time. Is learn-able but possibly for the advanced drifter. Wouldn't recommend any beginner to try it.

exactly,👍👍

Powerover works better than e-brake powerslide, but depending if the track is too narrow, probably wont be that easy to find room for a powerover manji with extreme angle. After that its about time to measure the final slide and mesh it into the corner entry.

In theory is simple like that, but in pratice will be hard to do it right 10/10, even with a lot of train. Also, for tandems a reversal entry is not that usefull.

not really, just left my opinion of what track do i like to do backwards at, it was my opinion, not even a suggestion, i never said, "you guys should try it at X corner of X track" , never tryed to argue against anyone or anything, kk?:)

The sound got screwed up more pretty much all of it but you don't need hearing to see reverse entries.

Pressing/pulling the hand brake long should be easier to start with, of course without it, it looks nicer. If you ask me using the handbrake just very quick looks also nice just like kawabata's perfect drift.

When you think you can do it with the long handbraking, you should try a different way. First you have to know how your car responds after you pass 90 degrees. LSD 5 60 60 is good, I started in a different way, because I used a different style of tuning which was not as good as I got now. Like everyone says, you can do it also when you go flatout.

Keep your brakes at 5 5
A wing could help, or destroy your entry, depending on how you use the downforce and tuning. I'll upload a video soon. When you get used to it, you just go reverse without wanting to lol. I have it all the time and my team mates get pissed when I ruins the pace lol. In the end it will be as easy as using the handbrake.

Just keep in mind that a close run with your friends is better then anything !
Thats the truth!! Once you get used to doing it, you find yourself accidentally doing it when you dont want to. But tandem reverse entries are very fun if you get to know their style pretty well. Good sound advice!

Eh, I guess I didnt check the other pages, LOL.

Saw this earlier awsome skills, I love that track as well. Its not all done in one lap but its just one of the sexiest things I've seen. There is a correction on the first one but really who hates this is just an idiot.

Not for beginners :P

Yeah, this wasnt done in one lap. But it was done in 2 1/4 laps. Just hopped on the track and had fun while waiting for a friend to get online. Thanks for the compliments again!
And I DID link the whole first half of the track, he just cut it into parts for some reason. Wish I could record in HD :-(

I forgot about my iPhone. Doh. Here is the raw replay. Messed up the first corner a bit, but oh we'll.

I've been having a lot of trouble doing one but today I was in the vertigo race car and ACCIDENTALLY did one at top gear coming to the hammerhead the wrong way. :)
