Actually, the Matt Black is darker than the Matte Black. Both aren't quite black, but rather almost a Charcoal color instead.

I hear ya! Supposedly the polarities of the Earth are supposed to reverse rendering gravity null, which means we are going to just fly up into the sky to our demise...

I just see it as the dude behind writing the calender got upset with his boss and quit.... They said 2012 is good enough for now and we got a couple of thousand years to find his replacement. I guess they never got around to it!
