So ya wanting to keep a database for cars with these paints since they seem to be very coveted and ya just keeping something for a quick reference.
THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR TELLING US WHAT CARS YOU HAVE IN MATTE.
It is to catalog the cars you can buy with Matte for paint chips and when/how you are gifted them as a reward (if the reward is constant for each player.)

Lexus LFA - Matte Black $375,000
Toyota FT86 - Matte Black $300,000
Own 120 cars - Matte Silver (Do not know if this is a constant for all players yet)
Own 240 cars - Matte Grey (Do not know if this is a constant for all players yet)

Lexus LFA - Matte Black $325,000 (I think)

I believe the Lexus is closer to 375,000 but yes its Matte, and man does it look good!

What's so special about the matte colors? I don't get it!

I have a matte green and it looks very bright for something that should be 'matte.'

They look neat? and they have the collectability factor, I don't mind them but I would like more then the black I have.

Does anyone know if you trade a car with matte paint and then receive the car back again then you get an extra paint chip? It works with pearl and metallic but not chrome?

The G37 DOES NOT come with a swatch though, so buyer beware!
The LFA is 375000, and the FT-86 is 300000.
I believe the LFA comes in a matte white too?

I tried that. My Ferrari was bought with rosso scuderia, but painted matte black. I sent it to an alternate account and even though it is still matte black, It gave me a Rosso scuderia paint chip. I then sent the car back to my main account and the paint chip as well. Upon receiving the car back, I get a new rosso chip. So I made two extra Rosso scuderia chips in the process. I will try again tonight with my LFA which was bought with a matte black chip but painted another color.

The ft86 isn't anywhere close to $300,000, I shall be removing the g27 then and Star thats nice but did it come that way? or did you paint it that way? This is a thread for cars you can get the paint chips from.

I've got matte black, and matte red, but no idea where I got either of them from. Maybe racing Kart for the black? But can't be bothered buying another one to check.

Interesting. I made the mistake of painting my samba bus in chrome expecting to whore the car around to friends for unlimited chrome paint but it didn't work :(

I now have a $300 000 samba drift bus with chrome paint tho...

LOL!!! :lol::lol:

sorry, but that just made me laugh outloud!

I've had quite a few mattes but I've mostly given them to Lucky206, I think I've had matte pink, light green, green, light blue, blue, black, dark grey, grey, red and yellow, but I have no way to check. I earned them all from being given paint at regular intervals, the most recent being matte grey at 240 cars.

The SLS has some paint options which, while they're not called 'matte' anything, they come up in the matte category when you sort your paint chip list by finish type.
