That thread is for Route X and this is for the Matterhorn Rally course. The source of these findings just happens to be the same.

Talking about Matterhorn in Route X is off topic. We did it anyways for awhile though, and the speculation in the other thread this was a build for GT:HD that was abandoned, probably.

@Jordan Few days ago you said you would do a write up for Route X, later in that thread they got off topic and talked about this track, I don't know if you wanted to include this track in the same article or not. Just thought I'd try to help.

I understand that, but that same link was in that thread, and the other tracks were lightly discussed, the reason i said that was because you literally posted two pictures and a link. No conversation starters, no questions, that was all. And yes, this thread is for a different track, but do we need a new thread for all of those tracks? Don't take me the wrong way, but i just didn't really see a reason for this thread to exist.

I opened the neogaf page and I read "for this event 32 drivers listed"... The event has 32 drivers in it?? O.o

Here's a version with a better fit on the existing terrain:

You can see that the course was meant to go close certain scenery features.
I don't think this layout is possible anymore, however. There would be no place for an additional dirt layout along side the tarmac one, and I haven't seen any evidence that there's one or that there could be one.

I believe this Matterhorn Rally is an early version of the track, perhaps conceived during the development of GT4 or GTHD.
