Max Power Golf Scans: Anybody?

A long time ago in my more innocent days, I used to by Max Power (UK) magazine every month. The reason I am telling you all this is because this week in the weekly Photoshop competition the donor car is a MK II 'big bumper' VW Golf. I remember that on two occasions around (1994-96), Max Power featured two of the most harcore Golfs I ever did see...

One was a dark blue MK I from Germany (?) that ran on home made fuel. The other, a silver MKII, from Germany also (?), that was built and owned by a fellow named Rambo. I'm guessing the cheesy tabloid headline for the article was 'First Blood' or something like that.

Anyway, if anyone around here has those mags and a scanner, I would be eternally grateful if you could post up a couple of pics on here

I believe you. Even though I happened upon an issue recently, here in the States.

Believe it or not, Max Power then was slightly less smutty than it is now!

The way I see it, why not buy Option and Hustler and get the best of both worlds!

There is a VW mag out there now that covers Golf's pretty extensively. I can't remember the name of it at the moment. I'll have to run to the place I get my mags on the cheap and check it out.

BTW, I couldn't help but give you a little grief re: Max Power. Mostly light-hearted.

What can I say? I was young and stupid. But, now I'm not even young Watch it!
