A lot of people try to win races with the worst car possible. So I was wondering what the most overkill possible would be. The best one I found was that a chaparral 2j was eligible for a compact car race.

Is the Vertigo more powerful than the 2J?

Yes, but if the track has any turns, the 2J is the weapon of choice!

...I have no idea...

Dodge Ram vs. Subaru 360's. Watch 'em fly! :D

Mine was a 800HP Zonda in Italian race against FF Alfas and Fiats... The excuse is that it was my only Italian car at the time and I didn't wanted to buy a new car. :)

That can actually be a laugh riot. Somebody posted a video a while back about that. I've searched and can't find it, as I recall it was called "RAM page" or something like that.

Ah, excellent! Yes, that's it. Thank you! 👍

Did you know that the Toyota 7 race car can enter the Japan Compact Championship, if shod with S- or N-grade rubber? I'd classify that as overkill...

Yep, and the Chaparral 2J can be entered in the World Compact Race. You can enter several TVR's in the British Lightweights if you get a weight reduction.

It could be worse though -- in GT5 you can enter anything you want including trucks in the "compact" car race.
