I just got cable modem and high speed internet today, anyway, a friend of mine said that the username you use with a trial card (ie. from a game) can not be used then with your regular (ie. purchased with headset) Live account.
Is this true???

if youve already got a live account, then the promo (2 month only thing wont work. if you dont, scratch away at the card, hook up your 2 free months, and then add your purchased xbox live subscription afterwards. they stack like legos.

once youve already set up a subscription, you cannot prolong it with the 2 month free thingies.

Thanks for the info kinigitt, I was wondering about the 2-month cards (I have probably 10).

But, I was wondering about the "gametag". Now that I have set up a "2 month" sub.m will I be able to change or will I have to have the same gamertag as the one I just set up?

i started with a 2 month card, then i bought the 1 year subscription so im good until july 2005, and you keep your original gametag and password 👍

correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure if you dont renew your yearly subscription your credit card will automaticly be charged $49.99 for the next year.

nope. unless you cancel and start another sub, you keep your gamertag and your stats.

Ha ha ha! Awesome analogy. Made me think of a great quote.

"Women are like Voltron. The more you hook up, the better it gets"
