Mazda 6 Drivetrain

How come the Mazda 6 has a blank for a drivetrain
is it an FR or 4WD or what?

well, that depends of which Mazda 6 model it is. mostly, they are FWD, but MPS is AWD, has six gears and AWD, not to mention 2,3l, turbocharged 280 bhp engine. same engine will probably be in next gen Focus RS, but I don't have any clue of it's drivetrain or power.

The only one you cant see is the Mazda6 concept,and i have no idea. It wont let you enter and FF/FR/MR/4WD races.
I think that the next RS will have the volvo 2.5L I-5 turbo, the Focus ST already has a version of it.

Spykerdriver is correct. It is the concept vehicle and it is blank, which means you cannot use it in any race that specifies a particular drivetrain.

I think so, because I couldn't enter into MR-race with that midengined,4door, AWD honda.. and still, i could do it with ZZ-II..

a lot of concepts doesn't show drivetrain and anything.... so u can't use them in drivetrain specific races.... not all though....

Actually, I'm pretty sure the Mazdaspeed 6 doesn't show either. Both the prize cars. The stuff you buy is listed, but neither the concept or the Mazdaspeed versions are listed.

However, I'm at work, and I might be back tomorrow with a retraction.

And yes the MAzda MPS is AWD at least that's what they said when I asked at the 2005 Geneva car show.

I was mildly bummed about the MS 6 in the game. But, what really made me mad was the fact that the 350Z is the same way. If you buy the standard 350Z in the new car lot from Nissan, you get the same -- for a drivetrain listing. Which is a big bummer, because its 130kg lighter than the other Z's. I didn't realize this until I had it tuned up a bit and was going to race some FR races with it. GRRRRR!!!! Oh well, no biggie, there are other cars. I can always buy another Z, I just wanted the lighter one.

The Mazda6 Concept is actually front wheel drive in the game... if you buy a custom LSD for it, you can only adjust it for the front axle. I thought it would be 4WD like the MPS, but looks like it ain't. oh well.

All the models are FWD except for the MPS, thats 4WD.

They are like that in real life so they should be like that in the game.
