Anyone knows if this car is present in the US version of GT3?
I saw many links for prize lists that state this car is one of
the 4 cars you can win in the Roadster Endurance:

F688/S
Mazda Miata MX-5
Mazda Miata MX-5 1.8
Mazda Miata MX-5 <-- this is the one

I know there are 2 MX-5 (one a little bit faster) but some
car lists place these 2 plus the Miata VR limited A

Alright, when you win, you get one of the following:
F1 car
Miata 1.8 RS
'89 Miata
Miata VR/Limited A, or B

And I have the US version, and all of these cars.
 
The wheels on the car, the '89 has those "flower" type wheels, while the '93 has the spoke like rims.

Also the '89 is 118hp, and the '93 is 128hp.

That should answer your question.
 
not really, they were on 91's too, hehe. also, the hp numbers, at least for the US, weren't those on the 89 or 91, auto or stick. (but then again, most of the numbers in the game are J-spec etc.)not tryin to be nitpicky, just figured I'd hop in cause my mom had a 91. now it's my sis's. great cars!!!!!

Did you notice that the rims on the VRs look to be from the later MX-3s? I just noticed when I looked through one of my dad's Mazda Buyers guides. It tells the story on all of the cars(up to '95), and tells how Mazda became a car maker(they were a cork company in the '20s, and made their first car in the '30s).

I was going to take it to school for an independant reading book, but my dad said no, oh well.
 
man, didn't know they were a cork company, must've been some dang good corks :D Too bad you couldn't use it, that would've been neat :( lemme go look at my VR again, just to make sure I'm thinking straight, in that sense.. yup, those were stock on 91's too. in ATX form, a stock 91 model is rated at 98hp. the manual is like 102 or 5, can't remember. back to the buyers guide, any way you could copy the pages and still use the story? just a thought..
 
I might copy some of the pics out of it. No real need to use it now, I'm just using one of my English teacher's books.

Exactly Mazkid, you have the US version. I've never seen or heard of the Miata VR/Limited A, or B on the PAL Euro version of GT3. If anyone has got let us know? :mschievou
 
According to the prize car lists, PAL owners get:
F1
1.8 RS
'89 Miata
'93 Miata

Whats really wierd is that in Game Pro Mag, they have a strategy guide for GT3, and a prize car list. In the list, they have these cars listed:
F1
1.8 RS
'89 miata
Miata LS

They kinda messed up on that LS. But they also listed 2 cars from the beginner Type R race:
RSX
Civic 3 Door

Go figure. :rolleyes:
