just raced the Mazda roadster autum ring time trial, after i found a good setup here on gtplanet, and drive for quite a few hours, i managed a time of 1:31:514, still 2 seconds from the top times. and today with the new update i could download and view the leaders ghost car and replay, tried to race against the ghost, then i saw the he could brake much later than me, take the corners faster and had no oversteer whats so ever. (he is also racing with the controller and abs on 10??, i use a g25 and abs on 1, witch i thought was the best) so i wonder is it possible to setup the car this god or is he cheating somehow? cause he isnt driving any better lines than me, his car just handles like he have better tyres than me, anybody else that have seen his replay and think this doesnt make sense ?

probably just a setup glitch. Until setups become locked the time trials are a bit of a waste of time tbh. There is nothing odd about someone using a controller though. If you know which sensitivity level suits the car its not the disadvantage it once was

The only solution is to make it so Mazdas cannot be tuned or traded. It needs to be fair for EVERYONE.

There are so few Mazdas around... Please PD, lets have some concern over the integrity of the Miatas.

If you are running the same line and aren't as quick, adjust your own settings to see if you can improve your time.

1) Transmission. Is the top speed optimized for the track? Lower it to the point where you hit the rev limiter on the longest straight then go up a notch until it goes away. This will give you max accel without sacrificing top speed.

2) LSD. This can help with oversteer on exit. Research better options

3) Suspension. You can gain seconds with the right setup. By just adjusting camber correctly I have gained a few seconds on some tracks.
