Ah alright.
But seeing all these comments... Is there some sort of massive like war going on or what? Because I've noticed that the past recent few of StarLight's posts in the Cars subforum, there has been some negative feedback going on.

As far as I know it all started here. But if you really want to get the details I'd suggest you to PM the people you saw opposing StarLight on this thread.
Hopefully you will stay neutral in all of this. I try my best to, but my sense of justice makes me have a slight sympathy towards those who don't like SLG.

Seeing as to how I just discovered this conflict, I don't have a reason to pick a side, nor do I even want to pick sides. All I know is that I hope this conflict ends out smoothly.

I will break the silent ... this conflict has a long story.
Just let me tell you my story because there is no secret about it.
And I prefer to do this in my own thread than spoils others threads like so many times happened.
My English is not the best, that's why I sometimes interpret things wrong or can explain as I would like to do.
1. It starts with a conflict between me and Szayelarel
Why? Because he imposes to me not to use the word Holland but instead of that he prefers Nederland.
Fine, he can keep using his word and I keep mine ... we live in a free world, right?
Later on he is going to support Tsukishima, in the beginning I had no problem with "her", yes it seems to be a female (I don't know if she is really a female or not, doesn't bother me too but here nobody knows the real identity of someone).
Anyway the second conflict goes than about likes ... it starts with the likes I get from a particular amount of friends made over the years I meet on this forum, all of them are from the start of GT5.
Again, I never asked my friends to vote on all my cars, I just said I'm here in the suggestion forum and just watch my cars and if you like it vote on it ... that's a very normal thing to do ... I mean among friends.
This is very important, the system as is, is based on likes and how more likes how higher in the stats and maybe or suggested car will climb in the stats and maybe spotted by PD.
Some of you will say .... sure. I don't need that you believe me or not, just explaining things how they are.
All of this is not even proved .... I had suggested a car and with only 11 likes this car come to GT6 among others cars, so this is a very good indication that's things are not based on the amount of likes. The number one car here on the suggestions forum had at that moment over the 500 likes ... the same car has now over the 1000 likes and still not in GT6. So is PD ever looked here?
I don't think so ....
At a certain point Szayelarel started to spice some thins up ... calling me a liar because I put on a thread that a certain car was the fastest ... for me at that moment was as far as I knew indeed so. Again a conflict about words.
Since I don't like people to call me a liar I defend myself ... suddenly a few members (his friends?) attack me and from the other came an other ... just to tease and accuse me with stupid allegations.
Anyway, the accusations started with, likes from friends who don't vote on other members cars, putting links of my own cars in my own thread and later on others threads too, bumping my cars and many other .. actually every day or week an other accusation ... and it still going on. Even recently people are going to ask me to put the source on my suggestions and dispute my copyright when I write self an article or drawing a cars logo.
Why they ask me all those questions ... why not ask others the same about their own suggestions, 80% of them are also copy & paste and so what? This is only entertainment, it's a game .... capice?
Tsukishima and her friend legacybear bear are still trying to spice things up, I really don't know what their problem still is. Anyway because of those stupid post I stopped support Tsukishima suggestions.
But that's not the only reason ... she claims so many things not to ... no I don't need likes, no I don't copy others threads. Well she clearly does ... I started with putting a picture on a cars link, so people can easily click and vote on the thread ... correct, I did this and still do, I call it advertising my cars, others called fishing likes.
I even built a website for my cars, yes I put and still put a lot of work on my threads, but that's because I love it to do it. People confuse doing things if passion and professionalism with fishing likes.
How amazing, because they do the same with their threads too, look at Tsukishima threads also ( I see there links to other cars and so on even in other threads.
And about likes, I have proof she is also begging for liking her cars too.
But I will not dispose this information like Viktor281 and Tsukishima did with my private PM, I will not do that because it's private and only for the person who is addressed.
People are allowed to write what they want about a certain car, but honestly I don't like to read negative comments on my own and also others threads.
Why? Because it's sometimes irrelevant and mainly caused a bad atmosphere at a particular thread, don't understand me wrong ... everyone can say what they want ... the same for me too, right?
Anyway I choose not to put negative comments on others threads and if I ever did, then I apologize for that.
Back to my friends likes ... most of my friends were so sick about the comments they receive and I get on my threads and the war against SLG that they just left this forum ... just a few, cbarbosa, Monatsende and a few more.
At the moment a large amount of people are still not voting anymore on my threads, that's the reason my cars don't have so much likes as in the beginning ... I don't care less.
The likes boycott is much more as it likes ... since the war started until today some people (but I know who they are) are systematically DISLIKE my suggested cars, yes I keep a record with the likes I get and from who.
The system here is very nice, it only mention the likes but not who dislike it later, well my system does ... lucky for me and unlucky for them.
So speaking about childless things, here we are ... and why? Just to put my cars back in the stats and to frustrate me or whatever they want. Some people are just clear about what they want, one wrote: I want you to disappear, as far as I know he disappeared really for a while and get banned or just temporarily banned.
Who don't have to be a Sherlock to analyze Tsukishima threads too, yes "she" receives a lot of likes those last months with cars at the same level as mine ... even when I posted the GWA Ferrari (I bet she never had heard about it) she jumps to her PC and typed in: GWA and came across the Studebaker yellow car which she immediately suggested and guess what in a few hours gets more than 20 likes ... why, because her friends and "she" has lot and most of them are recently joined and with 0 posts.
Well nobody seems to bother about this, because nobody wants to know or see the facts as they are.
So stop analyzing me and judging me like I'm the only here "fishing for likes" as you used to say about me.
Everyone piece by pieces is fishing likes because that's how the system works.
That works so in real life too, why do you support your own football, soccer, Formula One team or whatever.
Why are you a socialist, communist or whatever?
Why are you a Christen, Muslin of Jew?
Because we have our own group preferences, so I don't blame that some people don't vote on my cars, I don't even care if they don't but stop telling my friends to vote on ours too.
I can go much longer with my story ... yes ... it's my side of the story but STOP attacking me and let me in peace.
As far as I concern I rest my case with everyone who is against me even with Szayelarel and Tsukishima .... but that is not up to me, but to them.
And what about the others who are against me?
Well, if you don't like my suggestions please stay out of my threads like I do.
I don't need your negative input and mainly of you are just ignored, yes they are on my list and that's why I don't read their posts too.
I don't feel the need to answer they questions or whatever so don't spend or time commenting on my threads.
When things get touch a few people write me a PM and then I read the nasty posts of some ... but still I don't read them all because I don't need a high blood pressure.
To end this, I want to put an end on this WAR ... because during a war nobody wins after all, there are only casualties of war.
Before I forget, I suggested the mods to introduce a better like system or even better get rid of it.
I also asked the mods if my car linking are a problem for the search engine like some claim to be.
Never get an answer concerning the search engine.
Well I have for sure forgot more things to mention but I think I already talked to much and I'm tired to defend myself over and over again .... like I said before, a story has two sides.
Do not try to provoke me concerning this post, because I will not answer to anyone questions or whatever.
Stop judging who or what, don't pick up a side ... just stay neutral and go your own way ... otherwise you are just a sheep following the other sheeps.

Please, admit you do care about the likes and that you are/were addicted about them, as I see no other reason for creating threads for cars when all the information people had about them was a mere vague teaser. When I put a link in my thread it is for a related car to the one in the OP, and not just a "here are more awesome cars" like you. And I have to say it, you're still linking unrelated cars to a certain degree, just because they're from the same manufacturer it doesn't mean they're that related at all; a Fiat Abarth 750 Record Monza Zagato has nothing to do with a Fiat Punto Abarth Rally Group A, for example.
But for StarLight, I think it's better like this, as the deleted thread contained even more proof about his addiction for 'likes'.

Go take a look at the ones that liked the BMW E30 M3, Toyota Supra RZ, or even some tracks threads like El Capitan and Pikes Peak.

That's why I don't like StarLight's posts anymore.

Again, you mention me for no reason at all. It wasn't me who posted a PM we had, but it was in fact another member who was in the conversation, I don't like naming & shaming so I'm not revealing that. The sad thing about this is that the proof for what I just said is in a deleted thread.

New members join in everyday and starts to go on a search for the cars that they like, it is no surprise.

Totally agree ... I just try to put an end .... but Tsukishima doesn't accept the facts or she is maybe afraid she will burn down sooner or later.

I think a moderator ought to step in and either (just my advice) make a rule about making threads about cars that adhere to a mod-created set of criteria that designate a suggestion pointless or fishing for likes, or remind everyone that anyone can suggest any car they want to without being continually challenged and hassled about it.

Telling someone to go away for good, huh. Quite a harsh way of putting it, don't you think?
What should happen is that he can continue posting cars, BUT must only put in cars that actually are relevant in it's existence (cars that actually are in production), and maybe cars that are more of a special edition than just a new model year.
That way, at least in a way, both ends meet on an even ground.

Good thing Szayelarel is gone. I had my own reasons to believe in some of the guy's arguments but he was still just too radical with all the sudden attacks. and he was never cool with me.

I think StarLight argued with him on a thread of his and he'd had some kind of agenda against him ever since.
I just finished watching The Godfather Part 2, and in light of the subject matter of that film, this thread and the wider argument look more than a bit silly.
