And it handles like its in mud compared to the F1. The F1 was truly way ahead of its time.

Exactly! The point is that even in a straight line it can compete with the Veyron, throw in a couple of corners and it gets really interesting.

I just love the F1 for its sheer focus on the performance of the car. It is a jet fighter, the Veyron is more of a Concorde. And both of these are very big engineering achievements, its just a matter of what you like best. Pure performance or driving 240 mph while being aircooled in leather seats and listening to a classic cd.

For me its the performance. :)

So the the Mclaren puts out 780bhp broken in (thanks Rigo :) ). Does anyone know what the Enzo puts out fully tuned?:)

My Enzo is at 922. I'm pretty sure the Mclaren puts down more than 780 but I'm not at home to confirm the F1. For sure the Enzo is at 922 though.

P.S. I like the Enzo better.

I just checked. My tuned McLaren F1 is 880 hp @ 8400 RPM, 970 Kg. My Stealth McLaren F1 is 798 hp @ 7800 RPM, 1100 Kg. Yet the Stealth is about 2 seconds a lap faster around Suzuka. Goes to show you can't go by power to weight in this game.

Another example is the 7 Fireblade has a much better power to weight factor than the Suzuki GSX-R/4 but the Suzuki will kill the 7 around any race track.

Damn :scared: 922max bhp for the Enzo? If someone could confirm the max bhp for the Mclaren that would be awesome 👍 still havent decided which one to get yet lol but seriously thanks for the input so far people :D

I've bought both cars. The F1 is among my favourite cars. Have 3 Mclarens 1 stock, 1 tuned to max, and one tuned by RKM motorsports.

The enzo on the otherhand is complete trash, handles terrible and this gets worse after you upgrade it. It needs much fine tuning, something im not that good at.

Gave my enzo to a friend for the ferrari challenge.

The Mclaren fully tuned is 882 bhp. Also it weighs only 920kg. I bought both at the start of the game and tuned them up and tested them both.

Theres a huge difference between the two mainly down to one major reason. You can't buy a front wing for the Enzo. The Mclarens front wing(cost abit) + all the other aero helps the car no end. It can make turns up to 20mph faster than the Enzo due to all the downforce created by the front wing. The Enzo will simply understeer off when trying to keep up with the F1.

In a straight line the Mclaren F1 easily has the edge over the Enzo(i've tested against the ghosts cars) Infact from 70-220mph a fully tuned Bugatti Veyron only leaves it by afew car lenghts which surprised me. aswell.

I gave the Enzo to a friend shortly after. He just wanted to take pictures of it,lol.

Hope that helps :)

Oh just to ad i love both cars in REAL life, lol. But in this game with the different tuning the Mclaren was the car i used becuase it was faster at everything other than going from 0-60.

Don´t want to be a pain in the butt here, but on twisty circuits bikes will allways loose against cars (Obviously comparing sport version of both categories, not a prius against a ninja). Cars can brake much later and harder and turn much faster.

And why is that? Well, if you compare the size of the tires contact with the road you will see that the car has a lot more surface area to work with. Therefore better braking and cornering.

Bikes on the other hand can accelerate much quicker, which of course makes up for a lot.

But I would go out on a limb here and say that there aren´t a lot of tracks in the world where a bike, any bike, would be superior to a caterham fireblade.

The Suzuki GSX-R/4 is a car both in real life and in GT5.

I have the F1, and it's very difficult to drive. I oversteer into a wall when I'm not driving gingerly.

I have both. I prefer the Enzo. On Race tires, it handles perfectly and it sounds amazaing. I do like the cockpit view from the F1 though but it doesnt handle as well as the Enzo, although i didnt add any spoiler or wing to it.

Mclaren F1.

Enzo tends to understeer a bit.

Or save up and just buy both like I did.

I really cant say thank you enough for every ones input :) I think I am leaning towards teh Mclaren and indeed might buy both :D lol I really DO LOVE this forum lol

good choice by the way mine is 856 hp

I have none of the cars.

Id think the McLaren F1 would be a better buy, and the one im going for first.
Its designed by freaking McLaren?!
Fanboyism away, the Enzo is too high tech and fancy. The McLaren F1 is just raw supercar awesomeness! Designed to be, simply, the best.

in my opinion a better ferrari than the enzo is the 458 italia, is fast and handles a lot better than the enzo, i think full tuned my 458 is 799hp
