A DMC new package which will make the McLaren MP4-12C keep up the pace with the most sports cars and a little bit modern look too.
DMC has released details and images with their latest customization package for the now defunct McLaren MP4-12C, dubbed Velocita Wind Edition.
Essentially a follow-up to DMC's Velocita package from last year, the Wing Edition seen here is owned by a Saudi Arabian and was photographed in France on the streets of Cannes. The front bumper has received a spoiler lip as well as F1-like canards and a center sword. Also new are the side skirts while the back hosts a diffuser together with a lightweight spoiler.
As the name suggests, the most important modification is the addition of a new rear wing which receives the wind flow from the updated roof-mounted scoop. Other changes include carbon fiber body inserts, a titanium exhaust system and Italian leather upholstery.
DMC's engineers also tuned the twin-turbo V8 3.8-liter engine by implementing a remapped ECU which has bumped output from 592 PS (441 kW) and 442 lb-ft (599 Nm) to 660 PS (485 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque.
