The 570S is such a wonderful car, and this version is even more awesome. I'll take one in midnight blue.

Meh. The 570GT still looks the best. That just looks like they took the 650S Spider's convertible and plopped it on.

Limited to just six examples, the MSO Collection 570GT is done up in the classic combination of green over tan – XP Green, to be specific, which is the same color that distinguished the original 1997 McLaren F1 XP GT Longtail. The saddle leather interior features green leather trim and stitching, while the inverse is applied on the outside where saddle tan pinstripes complement the black aero components.

It's all finished off by a silver-grey Union Jack emblem, and comes equipped with such (otherwise) optional extras as a By McLaren Designer Interior, GT Upgrade Pack, Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and special five-spoke forged wheels. All told, the treatment adds £21,000 to the sticker price, which comes to a total of £188,567.

All six examples have apparently already been spoken for by customers in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Factory customisation done right, in my opinion. It looks great and it looks different, without being over the top or gaudy. And the pricetag is actually reasonable.

I must say... the 570GT is rather handsome. This Emerald Green color looks great on it, and I don't usually prefer dark green unless on an Aston Martin. A crimson or sapphire blue color would be amazing for this car with the golden orange accents. Sweet car!

Power will come from the familiar 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 fitted to all Sports Series members, though peak output should register at 611 horsepower, if the 620R name proves accurate.

It appears the car is basically a road version of the 570S GT4 race car

McLaren engineers have been spotted with a test mule for a new hybrid model to sit in the automaker's entry-level Sports Series range.

The engineers are using the body of a 570S (and likely its MonoCell carbon fiber tub, too) to hide the new mechanicals but “hybrid” inscriptions on the exterior and thick electrical cables leading to the engine bay confirm the car as a new electrified model.

We also spot a high-mount exhaust system and carbon-ceramic brake rotors.

A photo of the digital instrument cluster looks to also reveal the final design of the car. A computer image of a car resembling a scaled-down 720S can clearly be seen. Interestingly, the mystery car doesn't appear to feature any side vents like those found on the current Sports Series lineup.

The interior also shows a new dash design that's likely destined for the next generation of Sports Series cars.

McLaren has stated that every model in its lineup will be electrified by 2025 and that some of these will feature a V-6 engine. It's possible a V-6-based hybrid setup is being tested here.

Look for a debut of the new Sports Series hybrid late this year or in early 2021.

im pretty sure that preview is just a 720s... maybe with some weird splitter on the front.

The next Sports Series prototype has been spotted with a production body and stickers indicating it features a hybrid powertrain. With that said, the Camo features a lot of padding and fake panels, making it looks like the McLaren GT.
