All of them are awesome photos. Thanks *McLaren*, thats is one great photo sets you have. 👍 Yeah, I agree with you as well. The LP640 is got to be the best car out of all the supercars you get to see..... :D

Some amazing pics, thanks for sharing them!👍

A GTPremium exclusive for these shots though they are certainly not my best.
These are the photos I was going to add to my Galveston thread before my comp. died.

Brilliant photos! Truly amazing selection of photos. I will look into these more later. Great stuff!!!

Dropped by LoD for the first time in a long while with the cous., merely for us both to see whether or not the million dollar Lamborghini was there. She was, but the dealer kept her photo shy unfortunately.

Some of these photos are also far from my best, so I apologize for that. Was a bit heartbroken to be told I couldn't take any photos when they let me and others see what the Reventon looked like in the front without the cover. Never the less, hopefully in a few weeks, I'll bring something better to the table.

A Viper for Vip.

Ferrari Testarossa.

Gallardo SE, 6-speed. The only car I had flawless photos of. Probably should have taken more.

Again, not too happy with the shots. Only took 41 pictures, and seems like only half turned out decent.

What I hope to within the following months is get one of these cars in a parking lot at night and attempt a real shoot then. Just need to find a way to get a hold of one. Also hoping my next photos will be much better. But, while the only upside was seeing the Reventon in the flesh, here's to it showing up at upcoming meets. And (if there is by some chance), hi-res is available.

P.S. As a bit of rant, I really hate shooting these cars at mid-day, now. Those windows ruin a lot of shots, and I really may need to buy something that will get rid of that light, or find some angles that minimize the sun light. I was only fortunate twice today where it worked out. Until then, though, the next time I visit, I will spend more time with any of the cars outside since those photos seem to turn out just fine.

...
Dennis Collins.

Was it just parked there? Do you know anything about it? Was the owner in the store, the car getting serviced?...

*EDIT* Oh. My. God. He's proclaiming a world record for 31h59m. But Alex's book has been out for ages and he did 31:04. LMAO!

I don't know what Dennis Collins looks like, so I don't know if he was or wasn't inside. I do know, though, that he is a loyal customer to the shop as it's been seen in the garage 4-5 times. If I knew what he looked like, I would have also asked him if he knew about a M5 with Bullrun stickers on that I've seen in Dallas as well.

What model was the M5? It could have been Alex Roy's.

It's an E60 model and black. I would have spotted Alex's in a heart beat if it was his.

EDIT*
The reason he thinks his record is faster is because he believes Alex did not stick to the Gumball route.

There's no dispute - Alex didn't stick to the Gumball route. But there was never an official route anyway; it was just one they all used. Roy started and ended in the correct places -- that's all that matters. I personally think the 550 guy is just sad about holding the record for such a short period of time.

I don't think he ever had it did he? I think it says in his book Alex was back home recovering when Rawlings/Collins rang him.

I think Roy set his 31:04 record in Oct. 2006.
Damn that was quick! I only had that sentence up there for a minute!

But thanks for the date.

Is the Reventon under the cover or is that something else?

Yes, the Reventon is under the cover. They took the cover off the front to let everyone get a glimpse but they said no photos. As I mentioned, they did not want liable for anything.
