Maybe you should try using another encoder? Which do you use? wmv, divx, xvid???

Its not my software, its my hardware. My actual capture utility hates Seattle (and a good portion of Tokyo) for some reason.

Now that's funny!!!

Start form a point and work your way towards the problem... thats all the advice I can give.. e.g. check if capture card is mounted securely, check cables, etc... you shouldn't let such a small thing deprive us from viewing your vids bro... good luck.. :)

I've played around with Sims the last couple of days... got some decent drifts... but I realised that it's not my style... cars are too slow (Im used to high HP) and concentration level to get an "ok" drift is too much...

I'm back driving the RX7 RS with SS (front) and Normal (back).. stage 3 turbo, and I'm having soooo much fun with it!!:D :D

Sims I will rather leave for when I'm completely bored or looking for concentration exercise... I'm drifting for fun.. and right now I aint getting that satisfaction from sims...

It's personal preference when it comes to type of cars and settings one wants to use... If you want a challenge, or just drift for fun... :p

Sorry, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you on this one. Drifting well on sims takes a while to master, just like anything else worth doing. You are doing yourself a huge disservice if you do not practice on sims. Yes it is difficult at first, but after a lot of practice it becomes second nature. Not only that, but it also teaches you such precise throttle, steering, and weight shift control, that once you master drifting low power on sims, you can then drift anything like a pro. Also, I agree with exhaust, a challenge is fun. ;)

You are crazy. I saw that R34 drift you snuck in there for about two second before an RX7 drift. :D Man, you're like the master of GT3 drifting.

I hear you bro... but at this moment my concentration level is not to be tested

I will attempt Sims at a later stage... coz at the moment I'm just not feeling it... taking the fun outa drifting for me... :)

Anyway.. if you see a unusual post or just a ":) "... just know that I'm only posting that to make the new posts viewable...

Another thing.. I will constantly edit the first post as to how many members are interested in our little adventure and what the voting results regarding the type of car, track and settings... will decide at a later stage on how we are going to vote etc... I think PM will be the best way to go... or we can keep it in this thread for everyone to see... we can decide on that...

Edit: Oops!! wrong thread:lol:

Will repeat this post in the Right thread.. "Simdrifting Adventure"
