I'm sure an answer may be in the General Discussion thread but I'll be honest - I'm not in a great mood and don't feel like looking at all the search results.

I have Windows Server 2003 running as a fileserver. The newest version of WMP it can use is 10, which doesn't have the sharing options. Are there alternative ways to use that system as a media server for the PS3?

You might could give TVersity a try. I haven't used it as I have WMP11, but it looks like it should do.

I found that a little after I posted but I haven't been able to get it to do any good. Also, the drive with the shared media is password protected, so I'm not sure if anything is going to make it work. I forgot that I have Nero 8 laying around here somewhere, which has Nero MediaShare on it. I'll try to give that a shot too.
