Graveltrap, gear position is a big help. I was downshifting too much and scrubbing corner speed, thinking the car accelerated harder. But I've gotten down to a 5:54.02 so far and I'm easing my front springs down also. At 8.45 now. lol
Set a new personal best last night. Using my Orange car, which usually is my fastest. I changed to my latest settings, along with a totally different gearbox setup. I got a total time of 5:48.5xx and a best lap of 1:54.02x.
Now if I can figure out why my other cars with a similar setup aren't as fast it'll be all good. Of course the gearbox might be the culprit?

Usually to get the hp, alter the handling and keep the PP low, requires ballast. But as graveltrap said, you may have to start over if your cars not fresh or somethings way off.
Keep in mind adding rear weight ballast adds steering in and rear traction out, adding front ballast adds steering out and takes away entry steering.
did you use a fresh car, have you changed the oil?
