If you haven't noticed the artificial racers in the game drive on the exact same line everytime. The only way this exact pattern is disrupted is if the player hits the AI car and knocks it out of its usual trail. This makes racing the same race more than once quite boring. Hopefully in GT4 they will change that to add some variety to the races.

There have been like 4000000 posts about stupid AI and what they have done so use the search button plz. BTW Welcome to GTP!

Well first off, I think they specifically targeted this subject in gt4, so you've got that to look forward to.

However, if really want a challenge and love the game, I suggest you cart your butt over to the online racing thread, get in on the weekly racing series and experience the best competition on the board. If you interested in rally, do the A.R.C. series.

But whatever your interest or final decision, know this (which Im sure you know already), racing AI is crap, but racing me or any of my comrads from the weekly... well you better get ready, cause we don't take it easy.

I should also mention that the weekly will make you one hell of a racer.

I started there as a mid pack amatuer, now Im a run-o-da-muck pro. It's not much, but it's an improvment for sure...

So are you up for it.

We'll be waiting for you at the finish line :trouble:
 
I think the funniest part is really really tight corners...like I just did some of the pro FF races in my Xsara and every time I would stick with the civic on the Cote, we get to the final turn and its almost as iff the AI cant figure out how to turn the wheels more, so *thud* into the far wall goes the little civic. First time Id seen a 3 point turn in the game (not cointing spinouts and such)
 
Kent has a good idea with the weekly comps, they are some good ones. They will make a GTP man outta ya.
