Eww front lights. I seriously hoped thats a masked pic right.

EDIT : Err thats definately not a mask, just hideous. What was wrong with splitting the headlights in the same way before they merged them together. ie 2001 CLK.

I think that all this nomenclature is German-based, and I think the 'K' is coupe.

It just occurred to me, though, that there's no totally unifying pattern I can see, because we have the S-klasse, the SL-klasse, and then the unrelated SLK-klasse.

The 'k' stand for keine, which is small.

CLK (CL keine), SLK (SL Keine)

So I got invited to the E-class unveiling party at MB of Ft. Lauderdale. The cars look good in person. The interiors are really the highlight though.

Below are some pics. I can't believe how many old gold diggers were there. All the schmooze-bots were dressed up and the guys who are just disgustingly rich came in t-shirts and jeans. :lol: A jeans guy with a curly white skullet pulled up in a Veyron.

I've actually always thought that the K stood for Kurz as in SLK= Sport, Leicht & Kurz


Edit: Kurz means short for the forumites not understanding german

So I'm watching the concourse d'elegance, and they're talking about Michael Fux taking delivery of his newest custom Rolls Royce. It just dawned on me that Fux is the guy I met at this party. :lol:
 
Ah yes, Australia, a continent so dangerous even the exchange rate will kill you.
