Is this going to be an official time trial in GT7 or some other method of posting laps? I seem to remember it being missed by a lot of players last time around.

It was an official TT last year and seems to be set to be the same this year. The TT was a month long.. Not sure how it would go missed.

I do remember that. It must have been the follow up races or the registration. I seem to remember a lot of people who qualified not even realizing they had to do something else.

Edit: found the chat where I read about this and apparently it affected the top 24 drivers. They had to join a discord and fill out a registration form from that discord. People did not receive email notifications and just thought they were "in" so apparently a bunch of the top 24 drivers missed the registration cut off and then many drivers who finished just outside of that didn't realize they could register as an alternate in case people higher up couldn't participate (or missed the cut off) so the top 24 actually ended up going all the way out to 47th place.

Set an initial time three seconds slower than the top time. I'm .3 faster than the gold time and feel like I can definitely go quicker. Just a bit scared to see how much the track limits were stretched for those top times.

This TT is giving me Lewis Hamilton TT vibes. :lol:

I can see 3 events under Special Events with no possibility to filter. Do you need PS+ to run this AMG stuff?

I ask myself the same question ! Just fired it up but can't change any settings concerning crossplay and filtres. Nothing is available 😔

Not sure, I haven't installed ACC on my PS or my PC, even though I have bought it on both 😂

I got that info from the Discord, will see if there is anything else on there

Assist setting is off in this TT, only TC can be used, not great for a controller user.

Found out it wasn't so bad after all... :embarrassed: :lol: Very stable car and TC does wonders as always.

You really should get used to no assists other than ABS. There's more than enough assistance happening behind the scenes. GR3 has so much grip that TC is redundant.

Yes, I use the controller.

Some of us don't have any chance to get to that level unlike you (congrats to your trophy BTW, looks awesome!!), just want to participate :) Obviously, in GT7 we can do the online TTs w/o PS+, thought that this would be possible in ACC, as well. Again, personally I'm not in danger of getting to the next round anyway (and if I would, I would get PS+ temporarily), so no real issue here, just some clarification.

You do. Division 2 places are drawn from a raffle among all participants. The top 24 spots in each platform (plus the two "golden ticket" winners) go in Division 1; everyone else goes into a raffle for Division 2.

I imagine that there's a cutoff somewhere, but you don't need to be in the top echelon.
