The production of 190SL started in May 1955, the 190SL was like the baby sister to 300SL with it's 1,9 liter 4-cylinder inline-engine with dual Solex-carburetors that produced 105 hp / and 142 Nm. The engine was fitted to an 4-speed manual transmisson and the whole car weighed 1140 kg. In February 1963 the production ended with 25881 units built.

I saw one a few months ago in Marin (go figure)...gorgeous little car.
I can't remember if I had seen one at all more than on Picture but I saw a Black 220 Convertible today and in last year I drove a 190S from 56 haha They are all based on the 180 :)
