Am I the only only one who can't paint the wheels on this car? I don't understand why PD placed this restriction.

I don't think you can paint them, and you really shouldn't be able to either. Who wants to see a 300SL with drifter wheels or something? It's a classic, just keep it stock and it's fine 👍

It is fine stock but if you want to paint the car a different color, the wheels will no longer match the body and that sucks.

I'm pretty sure when you piant it, the 300SL's hubcaps will change color, but not the chrome bit of the hubs.

Are you talking about painting the stock wheels or buying other wheels and not being able to paint them either? Because from memory lots of stock wheels cant be painted, im fairly sure none of the ferrari's stock wheels can be paited either.

Yeah, but if you paint it white, the rims stay red. They only match when the car is stock.

The 300 SL's wheels can not be changed and the stock ones can not be painted.

What I did was buy the car with the color I wanted for the interior and rims. Then I painted the car to go with the interior and rims. There are not a lot of options this way, but you can do something. My version is here.
