New Seasonal up.
Details;
Car provided, No tuning run at Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circut
Runs 1/27-2/24 Ranking runs 1/27-2/10
Prizes
Gold 2:07.000 80,000 Cr. GT Metallic 005-W
Silver 2:10.000 40,000 Cr
Bronze 2:18.000 20,000 Cr

Havn't run it yet to see how it's going to be, but I think this one will challenge me personally I'm not super good at Bathurst. It's going to be all driver challenge as no tuning is permited In game driver aid's are allowed.
 
This one was not very difficult at all. The car is fun to drive and the time requirements are pretty slow. Overall a fun challenge and a cool reward.
 
Not sure if there is a glitch but I just gave this super lap a shot.

Target time for Bronze is 2:18:00 I finished on 2:18:87 (I did not get any money (credits) or the bronze award but I was still awarded the Mercedes Benz Gift Car which I was happy with.

As I said not sure if it's a glitch but it just happened to me.

Ow and ps I'm not the best GT6 driver in the world 💡

All you have to do is to just complete a clean lap and also you can miss out on bronze and still you get the car.

Gold is easy, even with aids off, I'm sitting just outside the 1000 mark at the moment. Keeping it off the walls trying to get that last little bit of time is the hard part of this challenge!

Yes - confirmed - and for the Stingray event, too. All PD wants from you is a clean lap - and they'll reward you for that data; cheaper than flying you over to Japan. ;)
 
I almost had a clean lap on that last fast sweep I touch the gravel and the flag pop :banghead: and then I just lost my mojo, will try again later.
 
Very first lap, golded by just over 4 seconds... not much of a challenge :rolleyes: it's a decent handling car for the bumpiness though!

As I accidentally discovered. I put in a very slow lap just to get an idea of how many people had tried the event. Over 4 minutes later, I found myself at 40,000+ on the leaderboards. And rising, now at 49,867.

Since I received the free car, I think I'll leave this pathetic time undisturbed to see the leaderboard grow!
 
I can't drive the track at all, kinda hate it, always going out by just the little on the edge.
For me, this is a difficult track to be fast on. Reached silver with knowing where i braked really hard just to have a clean lap.
 
Not a huge fan of mount panorama, nor the MB VGT, but managed to gold it on the first try, had SRF on though, so that probably made it quite a bit easier. Gave it about 5 more laps to improve a bit and got placed somewhere between 200 and 300 in the leaderboards.

Trying to aim for the very inside of most of the corners and usually using a bit higher gear than you'd think seemed to help to shave off some tenths.

Decently fun TT, but nothing too addictive for me at least. Good luck for people who are aiming for the top!
 
55 laps i'm still all red, car i dont know + track I don't know = misery :crazy::banghead::ouch: I'll get it I've had sever red laps at 2:03 I just nicked a corner or slide a tad to much and pop goes the flag. :yuck:
 
A difficult decision, especially since it will cost $2 million to change it!

I chose Elbaitgrün Metallic, the green with yellow highlights. Some of the combos made the wheels look a bit garish for my taste, while others, like the Crystal Lauritsilver and the Diamantweiss Metallic were not exciting enough for me.

Lots of practising to find the "right" braking points...
Not my favorite track..
Car it self was surprisingly good to drive, no real need for tcs or abs.
You really had to make a mess to get the brakes lock..

Drove of the road one time when i accidentally sifted to 7th gear... was like :confused: and off we go :lol:
 
Yup, orange. My favourite colour and happy so many cars now come in it now!

I like the track, challenging, and the car/setup/tyres, so it was very much fun. Some 4s faster than gold IIRC
