DTM D2 Mercedes
Le mans C5 Corvette
hmmm....i found the C5R very stable when i drove it for the first time (it's easy to drive and max out) but one thing i hate is the feel of the car ......there's not enough driver communication like in a MR car and the turn-in is quite delayed..... i like cars that are agile though and the C5R isn't one of themOriginally posted by BrianCNorton
just to throw this in,
my c5r can out handle almost any car in my garage. It lack something in stability, but damned if I cant do the slalom on complex string at full throttle. I havent tuned the CLK at all, but it comes with a manner of handling that resembles a pregnant andean meat yak. Again, thats because I have yet to touch the suspension

i'd say MR are definitely the most difficult to drive but once you master them all the other cars become a joke .....AWD is good for less experienced drivers who want to put up consistently good lap-times but this comes at a price .......FR is petty good but you'll always have that unwanted inertia at the front of the car (slower turn-ins) no matter how good the weight distribution is ......MR make no compromise and reward the experienced drivers ......i personally don't care for compromise so i got my act together and perfected my skills with the MR .....i still use the other drivetrain layouts but not when i'm racing someone as good as myself .....then, there is only one choice

How about the DTM cars? Like, try the Opel Astra vs. The Merc. CLK DTM. I think the benz would win, they do in the real German car Cups anyway.Unless theye're bein hunted down by a TT-R (Which should be in the game)

that's why when i happen to use Japanese cars, i use the NSX's for serious driving, and the Skyline's for when i still want to be really fast but can afford to be a little lazy

I have done a comparision with the Opel and D2 CLK, and my 5 lap race at Apricot the CLK won, the CLK is faster than the Opel but if you put them on Seattle or SSR5 the Astra would win, for me anyway the Astra handles better.
i will continue to use "Japanese" for i see nothing wrong with it .......people shouldn't make a big deal about nothing .....i use "Euro" all the time as wellOriginally posted by Rice Rocketeer
alright....usually AltF8 will drill you for this, but i guess i will since i learned the hard way.....
don't use the word Japanese....it carries with it some racial discrimination (don't ask me even though im asian)...Instead, use JDM or JPN....
