And since it's your thread, I don't know why you would want it to get locked.
All you need to do is search to find threads about what you are looking for. I usually search for stuff and eventually find a thread answering my questions.

It just seems people think forums are the same as instant messaging.

I have to say, daan, that as constructive and informative as the previous posts have been, it is very natural for a person to respond in such a way to incessant criticism, albeit in frustration lacking respect. However, and in no way am I challenging your authority, posting that sort of comment is quite condescending.

Also, I find it rather odd that after several posts instructing Fergu$ to consider the necessity for his threads and their quality, people do not cease to pile on unnecessary & attacking criticism in direct violation of the AUP.

I realise this would couase a unnecessary work for the mods and degrade the viewing quality of the forums, but take initiative and just lock this thread before it turns into a war of words.

YES!!! JUST READ WHAT YOU WROTE ABOVE YOUR QUESTION!!.......hehehe, just kiddin' man , I guess you're alright..you haven't been warned by any mod regarding the quality of your posts, have you???

I guess what "FERGU$_MANERGU$" has to do in the future is to learn from this thread (wich he should be glad that it hasn't been locked yet) and sort of start over. Bro, if you start making useful non-repeated threads and sense making posts, many members will start taking you seriously and probably forget your past faults, all you have to do is follow simple advices and stop being a CMWADD.

BTW, GeorgeMorley is a perfect example(sorry to pick on members) but it's true, at the begining I can recall he was about to leave because everybody was telling him the same thing were're telling you, He was the first and original CMWADD "Caffeinated Monkey with ADD" as Duke stated in a hilarious post. And now, he's seemed to settled down, at least he searches before making a new thread...

That's all, pretty simple eh?
