metal gear online (sorry if this has been asked already)

Has anybody had any problems with signing into metal gear online? I had downloaded and played the online beta test and loved it so yesterday bought the full game however my konami id will no longer let me in to play!!! I have reset my password a couple of times and have also had reminders of my details sent to me but the details that get sent through come up as incorrect when i try and sign in on my ps3.
Can anybody shed some light on this for me as it is pretty much the only online game i love along with GT5P.
