I finally got my hands on it last night. You might have seen IGN and Gamespot with the trailer split up into sections, but never the whole video. Well, here it is. Get it while it's hot!

That looks pretty damn cool. I have to admit to being utterly confused by the context of the game though. Just when is it the game takes place?
 
Who can tell,During the trailer you see the years 1962,63,64.Then how is it possible that a Hind chopper is there and those flying platforms.And what is Raiden doing there?That Kojima sure knows how to mess with ones mind.
 
The Soviet helicopters that are shown in the video are M-24A 'Hind-A'. They weren't in service until 1970s, but we are talking about a secret Soviet base here with a nuclear Metal Gear. So, advanced technology could pop up before the rest of the world had known about them, including those hovering platforms.

But, then again, who said MGS3 takes place only in the 1960s?...

And I don't know about the Raiden thing. It could be him, it looks like him. This would support that the video is showing two different time periods.
 
We are not going to play as Raiden this time around. It's pretty much 'Snake'. I use Snake very loosely, it could be Big Boss. If it is Raiden in the cut scene, it would prove that there are two time periods shown in the game.
