- None of your business
I just bought Metallica's newest album "Death Magnetic" about an hour ago. I just have two words to say: 🤬 YEAH!
I've heard that the album is sort of "In between" "...AJFO" and the "Black Album," and I would have to sort of agree. It seems like that, with a very small amount of Load/Reload in it as well. Just a little amount, not too much.
This album also seems reminisent of Metallica's early days, with quite a bit of the style of the first three albums in it as well. One thing that kind of bugs me is James Hetfield's voice, but it's inevitable that your voice changes as you get older and you can't sing the way you used to.
What i like:
*The drums actually sound like DRUMS again!
*Guitar solo's are back with a vengeance.
*It actually sounds like they cleaned it up and produced it properly (Unlike St. Anger.)
*It's fast in quite a few songs.
What I don't like:
James voice.
So other than James' vocals, this album kicks 🤬 9.5/10
