Anyone need some free software? This is all free to any student with a .edu email address. Looks like its about about everything available through MSDNAA except for desktop operating systems. I've been running Windows Server 2008 R2 for a little while and its built on top of Windows 7. Should be fine for anyone to use if they need it, but you'll have to look around for virus protection. Some will see its a server OS and not allow a home (free) version to be installed on it.

I wonder if community Colleges are involved with this but I need to figure out that school email account..

Yeah, if its in the list that will show up when you select your location it will work for you. Seems like the only verification they use is proving that you've got a .edu address too. Some of the education specific stores related to Microsoft require more proof than that.

I have a eq.edu.au email address from the school, even if it does work I dont need any of that stuff.

I want to try that Robotics program

I don't know anything about it, but I'd almost expect it to require some special hardware to do anything with. But hey, its free. Give it a shot. :dopey:
