Microtransactions that YOU want

PD is obviously still modelling machines, so I suggest they model as many as possible and release them in meaty content packs of 10-20 cars, at a considerable price.

As for what they have now, I wish the microtransactions for getting quick credits were a little cheaper. Getting car tokens was way cheaper in Forza 4.
Paying 50 dollars for 7 million credits is supa cray-cray! lol

200 million dollar credit limit and twice as many career mode races.. like a huge career update with all kinds of different races and 4h, 2.4h, and 1 hour races with different limitations, etc.. some with standing starts like the "good 'ole days".

Basically an extended career.. I'd pay them extra for that, even though it should already be there..

I think the OP has used improper terminology that dooms their thread from the start. MTs have nothing to do with new content. MTs are about getting in-game currency without having to earn it in-game (I use this expression in no pejorative sense). If in-game currency can unlock whatever it is you want, there should have been no mention of MTs: you are wanting new features added to the game. If in-game currency cannot unlock something because it must be paid for with real money, it is really paid-for DLC, not MTs: you are wanting new features that we can add to the game by paying for it. In either case the mention of MTs is irrelevant.

For the record: I might consider purchasing DLC for a small fee that would give me access to all the colors; but I would prefer DLC in the form of new tracks and cars (like a Jeep).

I should of noted in my main post about microtransactions with "Content already included in the game". I see a lot of comments about new cars/tracks/features that in the past was DLC (Features as in Route X as a track used for acceleration/top speed trials).

Microtransactions that I want? Well, I can tell you what I do want. Is for microtransactions to not exist. That's the kind of microtransactions that I want.
You're in the wrong place mate.

I suggest PD give us a Nurburgring Nordshcleife located on the Moon, with a few more powerful PD made lunar rovers and Moon Tyres for normal cars. I would spend all of eternity Moon Ring Lapping.

I'd be happy with Moon gravity on Earth tracks

MTs by definition of today's usage IS paying money to substitute for skill/grinding.
Coercive monetization.
Good reading: http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/RaminShokrizade/20130626/194933/

That smurfs game? Paying money to substitute for grinding (ingame currency)
Candy Crush? Paying money to substitute for skill (extra turns)
Real Racing? Paying money to substitute for grinding (ingame currency)

So no, I wouldn't really want these kinds of MTs.

I'm probably one of the very view who would put up their hand and say I'd pay money for tyres that have 0.1G more grip than the tyres you can get normally in the game... especially if online racing was ranked.
I would also pay money to reduce my car's PP number without reducing its performance. Again, especially in ranked online.
*puts up flame shield*

Paid DLC on the other hand, sure, I'll fork over some money for some new tracks, just like anybody here would.

When playing GT6 as a game (career mode):

I would be happy to pay real money for items that I don't need to actually play and advance through the game. (If I really wanted them that is)

Eg: Suits, helmets, additional tracks, additional cars, interior etc

Depending on my laziness factor at the time, I would also pay money to open up levels (eg: licenses, events, etc) without fulfilling the prerequisite star requirement (without it adding to % completion)

When playing GT6 as a simulator (Arcade mode):

I would be happy to pay for everything to be available to arcade mode; all cars (with unlimited modding/servicing abilities), all tracks, perfect interior, etc.

Cheers

I think a fairer pricing system would have been:

£1.00 for 4 million in games credit.

I believe more people would take this as an option, therefore making PD/Sony more money.

Alternatively they could reintroduce gifting of cars, paints, racing gear etc. As this is what it would now be, a gift as opposed to a trade.

As for MICRO transactions goes, Wheels, Paint chips, sponsored suits, cool helmets. Everything that makes no difference to the game.

Call of duty has now gone this route the last 2 games and people are gullible, coloured guns.......stick out like a sore thumb. Now lately they've added a new model to replace the gaurd dog with a wolf, make no game difference, its just visual. Or Ea and fifa with UT card pack to cut time.

Hate them in every way, money goes to the wrong place most times.
