How good is online mode on the PS2? Is ot worth buying the game for or shall i just 'rent' it?
BTW i have a hard drive in my ps2..........

i have PS2 & X-BOX and if a game comes out on both systems i will always buy the X-BOX version, the PS2 online will never be as good as the LIVE network ;)

thanx, online most people like it and others dont say much. this thing is super fast, i beat a bunch of people last night over and over and they were using faster cars :D

Drift God, what car did you use on the tournment in Detriot where you win the Cein? I can't seem to beat it, the closest I get is second.

So I take it you have to beat that Aprilla bike to unlock the exotics. If that's the case I need to defrusturate myself and try to beat the last race between me and them.

im not sure, but i just got the AMG SL500 DUB EDITION and im now 70% :D

i now have 2 "cow cars" lol this one i call the "MOOLAGO" 👍

This game is annoying. I swear no other game has made me swear so much-- well maybe Stuntman, or Stuntdriver whichever. Anyways, I cant get past Atlanta. I want the SL55 so bad. Im stuck with a CL500 right now, and Im desperate to get ahead in this game. Anyone know any good tricks or tips? Thanks!

Oh, and also, anyone have a complete car list for this game? Is there an E55 in it!?

Thanks Drift God, but-- you're missing at least once vehicle, the CL55 AMG. I know there is one in it. I was racing them in my CL500, so... thats one you're missing. Just letting you know, thanks for the list though. They dont have my E55... how lame.

:D We share the same misfortune. I almost ruined my Halo controller-- threw it against the wall and caught it by the wire before it hit and saved it. Afterwards retreating to useing my regular controller. I was ready to rip my X-Box out of its shell until I noticed the Halo logo on it. :banghead: I hate this game, now, excuse me, Im going to go play it. :D
 
I finally picked up the McLaren today and I'm winning races left and right with it now. Hopefully I won't break another controller :lol:.

Oh ya just so everyone knows, to make it stop raining or snowing all you have to do is win a race.

Have you driven the CLK-GTR? Or is it not in?
 
It's in there but not till much later in the game, I haven't driven it yet but the McLaren is still faster then it.

Yeah, I was having some problems with the snow in Detroit. I don´t know if this happens on the XBox too, but the PS2 can´t handle it. Slowdown through the entire race, it reminded me of Driver 2 times. :scared:

BTW, I´m 80% + on the game.
 
i wouldnt bother with the CLK GTR.WELL over priced for what it is.Ill stick with my black DUB sponsered F1 LM anyday:D
 
100% complete.....and trading it in today....Really no point to the game after you get the factory and the ME412..Everything else is cake...

And something is wrong with the game...I don't know what it is..but..Me412 = faster than F1 in a straight line...even with the Mclarens higher #'s..oh well..ghey..
 
I played this game a few days ago or so.
It was so good that I left the game store after 10 minutes.
I'm impressed.
 
Cosmic...It's a crappy single player game...Online it's pretty fun for a good week, then it gets repetative and lame...

Drag racing is fun to do online, but other than that it's pretty retarded....
 
As fun as this game has become, I had to take it back since it was only a rental. With Forza coming out this week I will be busy with that anyway. I might consider buying MC3 eventually though just to mess around with. 👍
