Yup I just got the call on Forza, I'll be picking her up tomarrow, I guess its the birthday present to myself :D.
 
I just played Dub edition the other day for afew minutes and it really sucked. When I saw the Rockstar logo I couldn't help but think of the GTA series. I couldn't shake that thought when I started playing either since it looks like they used the same engine when your cruising, except you can't leave your car. :yuck:

I got a good laugh out of the exploding trees at 1mph though
 
I hope they come out with a 67 Mustang if they release any download content in the future. It has my 69 Camaro dream car now I just need the 67 Fastback mustang dream car. :) :drool:
Yes you can change front clips and a lot of other body parts.
 
okay, my playstation 2 SLIM gets really hot underneath the part where it doesnt have the disc reader (left side) only when i play this game...why is that?

and how can i control this heat from getting too hot for my poor little PS2 slimmy?
 
Uh why would you ask that here? But anyways a computer fan or any fan works fine.

I started my game 2 days ago
great fun with my SRT-4 and abusing slipstream boot for every race
but I can't beat bikers because I can't slipstream them :P

Finally beat MC3 using only 1 Chopper, SS1000, DUB Edition Escalade EXT, DUB 300C, and went through the whole story line with just a SRT4, Supra, and McLaren F1 LM.


A great game and worth every penny.

OH yeah, fogot about that. I had a feeling a left something out.

After facing Roy, I remember I'd bought a Charger R/T and done the muscle car races. Forgot about my R/T.
 
I really hate the bike races. I don't even want to do them. And why does it seem like you have to crash right before the last checkpoint everytime.

It's like they want you to throw your controller.
 
*revive* Sorry for those who hate that, but I have a question:

I have a 350Z right now. I'm prolly in the middle of progress on Atlanta in the middle of the Sport Bike races.... Well, i've spent most of my funds in my 350Z, and I wanna take my 350Z somewhere with the games tuning availablity. And so far, I'm proud what my 350Z looks like. But my question actually is, when will the chop top and conversions become available? I wanna chop it, and cram a Skyline R34 front on it. I witnessed this with the chopped roof of the 300C DUB. And I'm wondering since that was done, I could do it to the 350Z sometime. I know its possible, its a tuner car for christ sakes. But I just wanna know when those options will become available.
 
I don't think Conversions and Chop Tops are available.

The 300C DUB was just built like that as a reward car.

If I remember right, one person in here put a firebird front conversion on their camero or something like that. It was a muscle with a different muscle car front i've tell you that much! :)
 
I think chop top works for only some cars. I've tried it on my bel air, but looks too low for that car. Never seen conversions, how'd u get them???

Ah! Found one of the conversions by Drift God, so McLaren, here would proof that conversion exist and could be one of the examples of front end conversions in the game posted by a person. I don't think a Old Monte Carlos gets new Monte Carlo lights on the car stock. :)
 
You can change the front ends like that mostly only on muscle cars. Like the Monte Carlo, Belair, '69 Corvette, '69 Camaro. Then only other thing I've seen is you can put the R32 tail lights on the R34 Skyline, but then again I don't have any Japanese cars.

u cant put r32 tailights on the r34, they just look like it but its not

Oh. Well I didn't keep it, sorry.

But You can change the front ends from the very beginning. I've just only seen it on muscle cars, but not all of them have different years.

Also you need to do the muscle car races to unlock the rest of the front bumpers.
 
Anyone else find the traffic in this game completely and untterly retarded! they just stop in the middle of the road n wait for you to crash into them. Also the computer AI is terrible, its like they dont even know you are in the race. You could be driving a diferent route to them, so when they come from another direction they just smake straight into you.

The only part of this game i truely "enjoyed" playing was with the superbikes.
 
back from the dead! Anyone else play this game still on Xbox Live? I just started playing through it again, my old xbox died so I lost my 1st profile.

I can't figure out why the game still appeals to me, but I've completed it twice and now roughly 50% through the third go. Not that I have much free time and also not because of lack of decent games... Weird :scared:
