Steeda, you beat it in an hour? With the sheer # of races, that's physically impossible. The combinations of the lap times alone account for ALOT more than an hour.. Then you have the load times, and the time it takes to drive from point A to point B, the time it takes to mod your car, because your "stock car" won't win races.....It's not a game you beat in an Hour...Don't let him not even really playing it influence your decision.
I honestly HATE arcade racers... But this isn't THAT much of an arcade racer..I mean, it's not by any means a SIM.. But in Autocross you can't just hug rails....So technically it's got GT3 beat in that aspect. If you even brake at the wrong point on the autocrossing you'll lose quite a few of them. Cars handleing is pretty accurate in a relative speaking IE, the lotus elise is the best handeling car in it's class etc etc etc.
There's damage models, and eventually you'll lose about 5 seconds if your car is totalled. You can Roll your car, and it's not that hard to do it depending on what car you have and it's balance is, you can't do that in GT4.....It's physics are pretty right on when it comes to bodymods. I mean a car responds differently if you add a spoiler, wheelie bars, fat rear tires, slim front tires..All that stuff affects the car..Not to the extreme it would in real life..but the fact that it affects it has to say something for the game...
I hate MC1..I hate MC2...And I was about 3 seconds from dissmissing this game as a POS too..But it's actually really fun.
