Hey all, "Midway Tuning: Lotus Exige" was a great success for me and I hope everyone else took something out of it as well.

I recently acquired the prize car '62 Lotus Elan S1 and am very happy with it thus far. I'd like to extract the MAXIMUM performance out of it (without nos) and get the opinions of a few members of this community.

Thats It! Theres improvement to be made so try these out and PLEASE let me know how I can achieve a better time and improve.

Also, if you make a change, let me know why you did it so I can better understand the "tuning process"

have you tried my Elan setup? you can find it from Tuner Garages. I think it could help you as well.

1-way lsd doesn't limit your tuning ability when you're off throttle, making the car easier to turn. Stage 2 turbo allows the car to be competitive against Shelby Cobra on twisty tracks.

I see, but wouldn't a stage 3 NA tune be more efficient in the twisties? After all, it is packing more low-mid range punch than the turbo. Even though its a stage 2, the NA really helps yo with that low rpm power.

the graphs might look like that, but in the end, it's about drivers preference. and in most tracks, you'll be using high revs. of course, you could do a comparison between my setup and yours, just for fun mind you.

hehe, not worth it. Mine was put together in a matter of 2 minutes and has MAJOR flaws. That's the point of posting them, i would like to see if i can make it better.
