Since creating this post, I have received detailed scheduling information (specific times and dates) from 1 person. I appreciate those who have followed through, and provided this information. Honestly, I haven't the patience or time to continue setting up empty lobbies, only to receive endless PSN friend requests from people expressing their interest in these races. It only seems logical to me, based on the number emails and PSN messages I've received (from well over 20 different people), these rooms should be very nearly full almost all the time, accompanied by an accurate listing of everyone's schedules (as requested).

So, I am handing over the reigns to this club to anyone interested. I just do not have the time and energy to pour into something like this if there isn't going to be equal parts presented from other interested parties. This was ironically one of the reasons I was careful to call this a "club" rather than league, as that very name hints at the grassroots, open-door, and democratic mentality of everyone possessing an equal part of the organization's formation and direction. Quite simply put, I cannot organize any events if I am not aware of everyone's availability.

This sounds nice, so it's essentially a race league? Anyway, you could sign me up. ;)

Can you use any of the 6 Minis on the game? Or just the '02, '05, and '07 S?

I recently took the initiative to establish dates and times for single race events, and created another lobby this afternoon at noon where I waited for nearly an hour and 20 minutes without a single person joining.

So, the new plan of action is to have everyone tell me a time which will work to do this, and a schedule will be derived from that, rather than me guessing at what will work for everyone.

Clearly, based on the number of emails and PSN messages from individuals stating their interest, the general interest in this league is there, but I need more specifics in order to set anything up. Basically, I do not know what times will be convenient for everyone, as only a few people have provided this information.

I realize not every time and day will work for everyone, but we have to start somewhere. Now that I've created about 9 or 10 of these lobbies with zero competitors, I'm getting bored with setting them up and driving laps/tuning for nearly an hour only to leave without ever having raced another MINI.

So again, what I need from everyone who is 100% interested participating is to post their availability here so we can sort some of this stuff out. If you are also interested in competing in a Championship Season, please specify those dates and times as well. I would like to keep the number events in a season short, and the number of season races to one per week, with around 20-30 laps or so (because of time constraints).

My summer schedule is wide open at the moment, but things will certainly tighten up a bit in the fall when I return to school. I'm also still on the (unsuccessful) hunt for a part-time job, so I'm not sure what that will do to my availability. In either event, I'll still be able to squeeze in a race or two every week. So, here's my schedule for now:

Until August 22nd:
- Monday-Sunday: 12 noon-10 pm (CST)

During the school semester:
(these times are tentative at the moment, and will definitely change based on family priorities, homework, my part-time job, etc.)
- Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 5-8 pm
- Saturday: 4 pm - 10 pm
- Sunday: 9 am - 8 pm

As dates and times change, I will update this information. Once everyone has agreed on times and dates for the single race and Season events, I can post them on the blogger site I've created for the club (
http://gtminichallenge.blogspot.com/) for everyone to see. After times and dates have been established for the Season races I will post the "official" Season track list.

Okay, enough typing for a bit...

I am available Monday 8am-1, Tuesday 8am-5pm Wednesday 8am to 5pm, Thursday 8am-1pm, Friday 8am-5pm and pretty well all day Sunday. (All times Central. Let me know, and I will be there, I'll also FR you on PSN... Im down for some tuning... I'll let the guys from my team know about it too if there is still room.
