i am working on getting all cars. my count is now at 701 including the 4 black ones.
i might need 7 more cars i can buy but they are nowhere to be found. i'm pretty sure they cannot be won but have to be bought. they are:

honda: fit w '01, z act '70
mazda: 110 s (l10b) '68, demio sport 2wd '03, protege '02
acura: rsx '01

the problem is that i use the euro pal version that is slightly different from usa and japanese versions. the web holds no complete carlist in the pal version.
it could be these cars are named differently in the pal version and that i already have them in my garage without knowing ...

help would be great.

Oh but it does.

Complete PAL Used Car Cycles List, for instance.

Or the Complete PAL Prize Car List too.

Honda HSC '03: Prize Car, Honda Type-R manufacturer's race
Honda Fit W '01: NTSC name for Honda Jazz
Honda Z act '70: Used Cars, 80s/Historic
Mazda Cosmo 110S (L10B) '68: Used Cars, 80s/Historic
Mazda Demio Sport 2wd '03: NTSC name for Mazda2
Mazda Protege '02: NTSC name for Mazda3

And you're going to get flambéed for posting this in "Car Tuning & Settings".

Another Car that was not released in the PAL Version of Gran Turismo 4 was the
1990 Infiniti G20

Not much people knew about this car, though I got really annoyed when I couldn't find it up until I found out it wasn't in the PAL version. :ouch:

Although, I guess there is many more that are missing.

You are also missing something more like 723 - (701 - 4) = 26 cars

I think he´s missing more than that. I have 733 cars in my garage. Owns the 4 blacks, the black Formula car, the solid colored Ford GT, and the 00 labeled Mazda LM racecar. Thats seven doubles, so 733-7=726. And I do not own the two Vauxhall touringcars, since I felt they were the exact same as the Opel ones, with the only difference that the Vaxhalls doesn´t exist in real life. So the real number is 728!

I have created a complete PAL car list, which I think is correct, and I beleive there are 732 cars in the PAL version, including the 4 black LM cars.

Let me see if I can attach the file, and then you can all tell me what is wrong with the list!

OK, if I have done this right you should be able to import the txt file into Excel and have a look.

You mean the 1990 Nissan Primera GT, available in Used Cars 90s A?

:D

SDR - A kindly mod has moved this into the main GT4 forum now, so don't worry about it. The 2001 Acura RS-X I believe to be the 2001 Honda Integra Type-R, though I could be wrong. I haven't checked my own car list in a LOOOONG time :D

Thanks Famine,
I was getting really annoyed when I was looking for the wrong name of the car that was only a NTSC name.

Though it is called the Primera 2.0Te not GT.

The 2001 RSX doesn't exist. It's named Integra, as the Honda, but there are also an Acura version.
Acura Integra and Honda Integra, both Type-R versions. The 2005 Honda Integra, is pretty similar to the Acura RSX though...

I'm sorry, you've lost me now.

I was saying that the car listed as "2001 Acura RS-X" is actually the 2001 Honda Integra in the PAL game, seeing as the 2001 Honda Integra isn't on the NTSC car list but is in the PAL game and the 2001 Acura RS-X isn't in the PAL game but is on the NTSC car list.

Wait just a minute! I´m a PAL guy, and I sure have the Acura RS-X, but not a ´01, a ´04. But thats beside the point here. I do NOT have a Honda Integra ´01, but I do have an Acura Integra ´01, so thats it. I have no idea what that Acura Integra is known as in NTSC, but I´m guessing on RS-X...

Ahhhh, right.

I know there's an '04 Acura RS-X in both versions, but if there's an '01 Acura Integra in PAL (which I haven't yet checked) rather than the Honda I thought there was then that makes sense.

Sort of :D

Why there's any Acuras in the PAL version escapes me though.

Yep, me too. Another make that´s not really a necessity is Vauxhall, since they´re simply Opels with different names on´em. Just Like Acura is Honda...
Well, the main difference lies within the interiors of the cars, since Honda (well, at least those bought in Japan) and Vauxhall are lefties and Acura and Opel are righties.

Mmmm. Nope. Other way round. :D

guys,
after great help from famine's pal car list i think i concluded shopping around in gt4. all problem cars are sorted out: found and bought or discovered other pal name and found in garage.
my count is now 718 including 4 blacks and the stripeless ford gt. all cars i am missing now i can only win from licences or missions.
i wish i could simply buy them - with 70m in the pocket.

heh. looks like a lot of you forgot that the NTSC and PAL versions have different markets labels. tho I wanna know why the update to the march is still under the british Micra name in mine :P

the one that PAL peeps will be missing is the Chrysler 300C, which is supposedly in the american game only. plus the Korean market game gets a couple extra cars as well.

mabey they're all in there with a codebreaker, though. they have that in GT2, besides deleted and unfinished models, the VAUXHALL versions of astra/corsa/vectra/tigra/calibra are still in the NTSC edition

i still cant believe that they removed the mini cooper from the PAL version, britains most famous and arguably the worlds most succesful race/rally car.

What? I run PAL, and I have the Crysler 300C. And as far as I know, I have not used any codebreaker... :dopey:

I believe the 2001 Acura is an Integra DC2 and not an RSX. The 2004 RSX is a DC5, but the 2001 is the older DC2 Integra. The newest old style Integra is the '99 version.

what about this 00 labeled black mazda lm race car? i have one but that's not labeled 00. where do i get that one? your help please!

i am now into changing all used cars to new or low mileage cars to get my garage as shiny as possible ...
